I'd li...Thank you for this very detailed guide. I'd like to report that my Kindle Keyboard also froze on the start-up screen, and almost nothing could be done. Finaly, I disconnected the battery, left it (along with the kindle) in a sandwich bag with silica gel - for 2 weeks, and then reconnected everything and it just started working.<br /><br />Tried the above procedure for 1 day, 2 days, 5 days, but didn't have an effect until I let it stay disconnected for at least 2 weeks.
